2026 Arbor Day Fest

The Tree Council is proud to once again host an Arbor Day Fest, which, like last year, will include fun and educational activities, live music, and a food truck. Attendees can learn about tree care and maintenance, and children can participate in tree-related crafts. The Tree Council will be handing out 11 different types of bareroot tree seedlings for families to plant in their yards (while supplies last) — eastern redbud, white flowering dogwood, red osier dogwood, serviceberry, buttonbush, magnolia, scarlet oak, river birch, tulip poplar, elderberry, and american plum. See here for photos and a description of each of these trees.

Arbor Day Fest will occur at Town Hall on Saturday, April 25, 11-1, and will be held rain or shine.

After you plant your new tree, contribute to New York State’s 25 million trees initiative by registering your new tree in the Tree Tracker. Be prepared to provide the location of tree. Also register any trees you planted in 2025.
