In Niskayuna, we love our trees. Every year, the town plants Arbor Day trees and we think they deserve special recognition. How can that be done? By helping us name the 2025 Arbor Day tree! This year we’re planting a White Oak at the Niskayuna Town Hall and we’re calling on residents for suggestions. Be creative. See the rules for naming below. (Suggested names can also be submitted at the Arbor Day Fest.)
Tree Council members will select three (3) names from the submissions. Residents can cast their votes at the Tree Council booth on Niska Day. The name receiving the most votes will be used on the tree plaque.
Entry in this contest authorizes the Town and Niskayuna Tree Council to use your suggestions on our website and in other Tree Council publications.
