On October 26, 2019, the Niskayuna Tree Council, the Niskayuna Highway Dept. and members of the community planted 15-20 street trees on Ray and Cornelius Streets. A demonstration on how to properly plant trees and care for the trees was given by Amy Howansky of the Tree Council . Some of the types of trees planted were: ginko, serviceberry, sweetgum, and crabapple.
