The Arbor Day Foundation has recognized Niskayuna as a 2021 Tree City USA. This continues our tree-city status for the past 15+ years. Residents of Niskayuna can be proud to live in a town that makes the planting and care of trees a priority.

At the Niskayuna Farmer’s Market on 24-July-2021, residents could visit the Tree Council table where they could ask questions of Tree Council members; pick up assorted documents about invasive pests, “street trees”, and the benefits of trees; and enter a raffle to win a butterfly bush.  The winner of the raffle was Anna G.
