Celebrate Trees!

Join us Saturday, April 23, 2022 for the Town’s 7th Annual Arbor Day, returning in person to the Niskayuna Town Hall Green from 11am-1pm. The Niskayuna Tree Council will have a wide assortment of trees to give away: (arborvitae (white cedar), balsam fir, crabapple, dogwood, eastern redbud, elderberry, golden currant, lilac, norway spruce, paw paw, persimmon, red maple, raspberry bush, rose of sharon, sugar maple, tulip tree, and white oak.)  Read the descriptions of these trees here.

Fun for the whole family! There will be seed giveaways, crafts, and local high school clubs to visit. Kids- don’t forget to hand in a completed Great Arbor Day Tree Hunt and get a prize.

We will also be planting the town Arbor Day Tree (an eastern redbud) at the town hall during this event.

Note: Unlike the past 2 years, this will not be a drive-through event. People will need to park to visit the booths and get their trees.
